i've been extremely depressed. i'm sure however that i have lots of company from all the other detroit sports fans :-(  the lions were bad enough, but the tigers off to a 1-17 start (i need to look up the worst start in baseball, but they have to be getting close)? and then there was the 4 game sweep of the redwings! the only hope for any kind of redemption is for the pistons to climb out of their 0-1 hole tomorrow night. i guess that there is some consolation with the av's and blues getting knocked out of the nhl playoffs today (but not much). oh to be back in '84! 

i have about 90 more cd's to finish. i'm only doing about 15 a night on these weekdays. if somebody had a collection of 500-1000 cd's it would be a 1-2 month full time project!

this is an ongoing series on dateline nbc about 6 people trying to lose weight for their 25th high school reunion. the deal is that they all are using different diets to compare how they work. right now the hypnotized guy and the atkins guy are leading the pack. i suspect by october though, that the one training for the marathon will break away from the pack (and also have the easiest time keeping off the weight).
