When I first heard about the Segway, I had the same idea as the French guy in the story; rent them out, from point to point. I figured that downtown Honolulu and Waikiki would be perfect for these things. Of course that would mean getting some laws changed, which would mean greasing the greedy ass state politicians with a little more sludge than I could muster up. I still think that it's a natural for Waikiki. Close it to automobile traffic and make the whole damn area a huge pedestrian/segway/bike mall. And of course; put in a casino ;-)

I know I rant about it way too much, but the drivers in this state have got to be the worst in the friggin world! I almost got hit 3 times today! In  one damn day! People pulling out in front of you are the main culprit, but the most aggravating has to be the ones who brake right in front of you to let someone else pull out of a side street! They think that they're being polite when all they're doing is breaking the RULES OF THE ROAD! I've got insurance and one of these days I'm going to use it and plow into the ass of one of these fat bastards!!!!!
