The HWCIA golf tournament was a good time today. After not playing for 2 months, I shot a solid 98. My drives and putting weren't the best, but my iron play was pretty solid (so solid that I was never even in a bunker all day long). And best of all, I won closest to the pin on one of the par 3's!! ($200 prize). I just missed winning another one too. From the tee box it looked like I had it, but at the green, the marker was about a foot closer than mine. I had the sunscreen slathered on pretty good today. Just a little redness on my temples and around one ankle. Now I just need to remember to goop it on thick at the picnic tomorrow :)
