If you have any interest in Tivo's or Replay TV's or any of the other personal video recording technology out there, check out the title site (I'm also providing a side link to it). Of particular interest, check out the post on SnapStream. With products like this, it's looking more and more like the end of Tivo and the like and a move into direct PC recording. This is what the Microsoft Media Edition PC's are all about. Of course if you have a Sony computer (like me :), you have had the ability to record and watch television for quite a while now (and also take your TV recordings and transfer them to a Clie handheld for later viewing). It's all still evolving, but a pretty rapid pace. The new version of the Microsoft Media Edition operating system comes out pretty soon, and should provide more info on how far the technology has advanced.

I finally got my blog going through AvantBlog (click on the title link). What I do is make posts on my Clie using AvantBlog and then whenever I hotsynch my Clie, it automatically makes the post to the blog. It uses the free, Blogger, blog software and it all works out pretty cool. And best of all it's all free!
