I finally made it back home! Only 19 hours after I should have! Oh well, what can you do? Wellllll, what I'm going to do is write a long complaint to United Airlines, with all the details of their broken promise and specific demands for compensation. I have my version of the story plus I also got the names of some other passengers on the plane who heard the exact same thing and are as angry as I am about it. If they were never going to hold the flight to Honolulu, they should have told us so we could have spent the night in Vegas instead of having to spend it in San Francisco (with us having to pay for it out of our own pocket also). I'm not even going to get into the fact that the plane today was 1 1/2 hours late!
