A hilarious look into the future, starring the Detroit Red Wings' Steve Yzerman.
Okay, here's a couple highlights from my Vegas trip. I pretty much got ground down in both craps and blackjack except for 2 big crap games that left me slightly above even for the trip. One was at the Flamingo (thanks for making me go Sharon!) where I cleaned up in about 45 minutes. It's always great when you walk up to a table and the 1st or 2nd guy to throw turns out to be the hot shooter! I 10xed my buy in and left very happy :) It was the first time I've been in the Flamingo for a couple of years and it seems to have seen better days. The craps tables were worn and the drinks were watered down. After about 10 minutes of play a host came down and gave me his card and said if I ever needed a room to give him a call. I bet anybody who bets over $5 a hand get's an invite there! My other big game came at the Stardust. I started off playing at a table by myself (and not doing too shabby either) and it morphed into a full table of 16 players where I filled my rack with black!!! I ended up going until I was by myself again and then walked away with a 15x profit. One thing about a full table game; they move like molasses! Out of the 16 people at my table, 12 of them were betting the hard ways and they were hitting! The damn payoffs for this take forever! Sharon came up to the table once after a roll and I asked her to play my hand while I went to the restroom. When I came back I asked what had happened and she said "nothing"! They hadn't even rolled the dice yet!!! They were still paying off the hard ways and then everyone wanted to keep pressing their bets up!!! Well, that's about it. It wasn't too exciting gambling wise. We did have a nice Thanksgiving dinner at William B's and ate very well for the entire trip. If you're not winning in the casino you might as well eat it up :)
Hey, the poll is supposed to reflect honest opinion, not be a lovefest to the Wolverines! But anyway, GO BLUE!
I went over the 1000  visitor count today. Actually, I probably had reached 1000 a while ago, but this 1000 is ever since I started keeping track with Blogpatrol, back in April or May? Anyway, this makes it official! :)
