The idiots were all lined up already this morning, 24 hours before opening. The smart ones were in their cars waiting in the drive through (smarter than the ones in the standing line I mean). All that for a donut?

I played an exciting round of golf this past Sunday over at Pearl Country Club. first off, I saw Michelle Wie there (again that is. I've seen her up there at least 15 times over the last few years). Then, I saw a tornado off in the distance (it was so far away that I didn't think to take my own picture of it). Then I saw three wild pigs rooting around by the 18th hole tee box. They were only about 25-30 pounders but they sure weren't scared of humans! It started out sunny and hot but then poured down rain for 3 holes in the middle of the round. It was the first time I've played in about 3-4 months and I must admit that I played pretty well. I was driving the crap out of the ball right down the center of the fairways and hit the greens in regulation 9 out of 14 (2 for 4 on the par 3's). Too bad my play on and around the greens wasn't as good as the power game :( Taking all that time off hurts your feel for the short game. Anyway, that will give me an excuse to get out again (not that I really need one :)
