I don't have any problems with how long I play, but losing less always sounds appealing ;-)
Check out the comments from my post a couple of days ago (PDA crash)and also the title link of this post. Once again I recommend the use of Ad-aware (still free for the personal version), and though I don't mention it, it's always a good idea to run Spybot (also free) in conjunction with it. These two (free!) programs together always seem to give all spyware the clean sweep.
I came across this blog a few days ago (mainly about Microsoft Outlook but other info as well), and it has turned me on to some new software that is great. The first (and best) is called Lookout. This is a plugin for Microsoft outlook, that changes the way you use Outlook. The website gives a better explanation than I can, but in a nutshell; 1) It eliminates the need to put your e-mail messages into folders, 2) Allows you to search by keyword, 3) finds all related information in Outlook within 1/2 second! It's free, and if you use Outlook at all, download it and give it a try. I was just amazed by it (and still am)! Another program is called Activewords. Although I just downloaded it last night (60 day free trial), I'm thinking already that this is another program with some serious potential. It puts a thin toolbar on your desktop and basically you just type a keyword and it will open programs, websites, start e-mails, and a-lot more. Once again, the website demo tells it much better than I can. With 60 days free, what's there to lose? Another couple of programs that I'm going to try out a little later (don't want to overload myself) are Anagram, and Onfolio. Onfolio is a program for anybody who uses the Internet. It's a collector and organizer of any online information that you want to categorize / make projects of. At first I thought it was very similar to One Note, a program that I already have. After reading Marc's review though, I'm looking at it a little differently and am definitely going to give Onfolio a try.
