The Office Letter is a free newsletter (also available as a pay for premium edition) about.... Microsoft Office. Lots of good information. I've already taken one of their articles to heart and downloaded Aladdins. It allows you to print envelopes and labels directly from Microsoft Office. I've always wondered why Office didn't have this feature built in (and been frustrated by it). Now I have it, thanks to Aladdins (and no thanks to Microsoft).

Good stuff from Andrew Kantor over at USA Today regarding open source software. Open Office is a great alternative to MS Office if you just need word & spreadsheet programs.
I was reading the Biz Stone weblog and saw his post regarding Buzznet. I faintly remember going to the site ages ago, but this time I went and signed up, and syndicated back to this site. Presto! I can now post photos into my sidebar with the greatest of ease. What's really neat is that I can now e-mail photos directly to my blog through Buzznet. Looks like my trip updates are going to get visual next time :) If anybody wants an easy to use photo blog site, Buzznet is definitely it.
