I just noticed that MSN has finally enlarged my Hotmail storage. They announced it quite a while ago but I just got my 250MB this week. They also now let all Hotmail users view the calendar feature (something Yahoo always did). It's actually a very nice calendar, very Outlook like. In order to synch your calendar with Outlook however, you need to sign up for Hotmail Plus ($19.95/year with 2GB of storage and up to 20MB attachments).
The new MSN search beta is out and both Walt Mossberg and PC Magazine give it a good review. Is it better than Google? Not right now, but it is only a beta release. The 600 pound gorilla is out of the cage!
USA Today announces that Gmail is adding POP access. This means that you will be able to read your Gmail through MS Outlook. Not a big deal if you don't use Outlook, but for someone like me who lives in Outlook (always open on my computer), it's a welcome addition.
