Kevin Respecki's Radio Weblog

Do I access a-lot of password protected Internet sites? Yes! Is it a pain in the ass to remember all those passwords? Yes! So what's the solution? I don't know for sure, but I'm trying out a couple of new things that I hope will be the ticket. #1 is a Microsoft Fingerprint Reader. It goes for around $40 and will enter all your log in information and passwords with the touch of your fingerprint to the reader. I haven't hooked it up yet, but Omar has and here's his take on it. #2 is Portable Pass2Go (an offshoot of Roboform, which is a good program in it's own right). This $40 program can be kept on a USB thumb drive and taken with you wherever you go. This article, from everythingusb.com, explains it well. I'll be test driving these two solutions in the next couple of weeks and hopefully will get away from the log in and password merry go round.
