Ever since Google came out with their free Desktop Search Tool a few months ago, everyone else has been scrambling to catch up. First came Microsoft, then Ask Jeeves, and finally today; Yahoo Desktop Search. If you're only going to choose one, go with Yahoo. It uses X1 search technology (Yahoo licensed the technology about a month ago) and up until today cost $75 to buy!

If I hadn't just bought a new computer, I would probably be jonesing for one of these new Mac mini's! With my steel like will power however, it will probably be at least a couple of weeks before I crack :) Even more so than the Mac mini, if I had known 4 months ago what I know now, I would have bought one of these Sony U-models and put the Windows Tablet OS on the thing. If only they had the operating system for sale back then!
