I've finally got my iPod photo up and running (it's only been about 3 months :). Besides all my albums and some downloaded audio books (audible.com is da bomb!), I've also started downloading selected Podcasts. Podcasts are basically recorded audio shows put out by bloggers. It's a relatively new thing but is growing by leaps and bounds and is actually pretty cool. I'm limiting my own downloads to a couple of tech podcasts that have relevance to me: The Tablet PC Show (because I own one) and The Gadget Show (because I'm a gadget nut). Anyway, these podcasts have whetted my interest in podcasting and since they are so easy to produce, I've put this down on my list: Produce a podcast! When this will happen I don't know, It's a long list, but the more I keep looking into it the more exciting it gets. Here's a few links of interest: thepodcastnetwork.com, and PodcastAlley.com, and a few news articles: from the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and Engadget - How to Podcast. For more stories/articles, just Google 'Podcast' and you'll get all you can handle. By the way, you don't need an iPod to listen to podcasts. Any mp3 player or audio software on your computer will do :)
