The Kentucky Derby favorite will probably be Bellamy Road. Check out the Andrew Beyer column on his Wood Memorial speed rating. Incredible! I've already gotten some dough down at 3-2 as I think he will be even money or less come Derby Day.
In addition to the new Axim I posted about below, I'm also setting up a dual monitor system this weekend. The hard part isn't setting up the monitors, the hard part is cleaning off my desk! That might take me a full day :) Oh yea, the reason for dual monitors? That's for me to know and no one to find out (but it may involve streaming video of horses traveling in circles :) Update: Okay, it took about 20 minutes to get the two monitors set up and configured (you can read more about it here). As an added bonus, the first monitor can stay hooked up to a KVM switch, allowing two computers to be run from the one monitor too! So that's one monitor for two computers and two monitors for one computer (it kinda makes ya dizzy!). Wait until I get my tablet into the mix as a third monitor! Then we'll have something cooking :)
After years of using a Palm OS PDA (currently a Sony NX80V), I've passed over to the dark side and bought a Pocket PC PDA (Dell Axim X50V). I just got it in the mail today and will be setting it up this weekend. I'll get into my reasons for switching from Palm in a later post. For now I just want to get the Axim up and running and put it through some tasks. Looks like a fun weekend coming up :) Damn, I love new Gizmo's and Gadgets!!!
