I've been looking at a couple of products from Stardock that I think I'm going to try out. The first one is Object Desktop, a windows customization suite. It allows for some pretty cool (and functional) desktop enhancements. The other is Multiplicity, a program that allows you to run two PC's from with a single keyboard and mouse. How is this different from the two monitors with kvm switch set up I have now? Well, instead of operating two computers independently of each other, you operate the two computers as a 'master' and a 'slave', with the master in control of the whole shebang. Another feature that interests me is the ability to move files and directories directly from one computer to the other, without the need to write to a floppy to transport it. Mutiplicity would also allow me to finally use the cordless MX1000 laser mouse I bought about four months ago and never even opened up yet, due to the fact that my kvm switch requires a corded mouse. And something I just thought of, I can also get rid of the kvm switch and the tangle of cables that come with it :)

Just a quick link to a review of six web browsers on CNET. Firefox is #1, IE is last and Opera get's a raw deal because you have to pay for it.
