Like Flickr and Buzznet, SmugMug is a online photo sharing site that looks pretty good. I didn't know that there were so many of these kind of sites out there, but there is. SmugMug isn't free, but what they offer for the price looks to be worth it (larger photo sizes online, account backups, large file transfers, printing services). The price of printing photos online has gotten so low, I'm re-thinking any idea I had of buying another photo printer. I'll just stick with what I have for now and get anything special or large quantities printed online from a photo site (now to chose a site!).

I saw a link to AppRocket on Life Hacker and went ahead and downloaded it for the heck of it (I'm a sucker for free trials). I've had it for about a week now and you know what?  I love this app! I find myself using it to launch everything now (look ma, no mouse!). My desktop is kind of strange looking now, because I've deleted almost all my icons and just use AppRocket to get to the programs. Check out this short tutorial and give it a trial. I've already paid my $18, this is a program worth having.
