I saw an article on the PowerSquid on Gizmodo last week and immediately went over to ThinkGeek and ordered four of them. My reasoning is obvious (if it's not obvious to you, you haven't read the Gizmodo article :)
I finally got my Brugo Mugs this week and after trying them for a few days, I have to say that I love them, except for one small nitpick.. As a standard mug they're great, colorful (body color of your choice)stylish looking (stainless steel top sections) with a 12oz capacity. The top has a rotating selector switch with three selections, Lock, Sip, Tip and Cool. The first two are great, the Lock completely locks the mug, allowing it to even be held upside down. The Sip selector allows just that, you can sip your coffee directly from the mug. The Tip and Cool selector is where my nitpicking comes in. The theory is that you tip the mug and 1oz of coffee goes into a special cooling reservoir, which allows for the instant drinking of hot coffee. Well, the mechanism works as advertised, you can tip and then instantly drink some hot ass coffee if you want to. My problem with it is that the reservoir is only 1oz. Maybe my sips are larger than average, but I wish that the reservoir was twice as large as it is. At 1oz there is a lot of tipping going on before my sipping. That being said, I do like the mugs and plan on using them as my everyday travel mugs from now on.

This weeks random 20 songs. Shuffle your entire music collection, click play and list the first 20 songs no matter what. You know, I wonder how random iTunes really is. Looking back there are 6 Pretenders songs in the past 3 weeks, that's 10% even though my Pretenders album count is only 1% of my total albums? There are other oddities as well, like 2 Roxy Music songs this week from the same album, 2 AC/DC songs this week from different albums and more strange clustering in the past weeks. I'm going to look into it when I have some time. Update: This Wired article gives a good explanation. Damn birthday paradox!
