I've tried a few sticky note programs but have never stuck with them, as they all seemed to try to do too much. I've recently found Stickies for Windows though, and think that it might just fit the bill. A simple sticky note program :)

I've written in the past about how I use use multiple monitors, but Deskloops is new way to get multiple windows on one monitor. I haven't given it a try out, so you're on your own if you decide to use it :) Of course if you need multiple desktops, there is also the tried and true Windows Powertoy: Virtual Desktop Manager.
