Looks like start.com has morphed in Windows Live, another ajaxy type start page. This one looks to be closely integrated with Windows products like Hotmail and MSN Spaces. Not too bad as a start page. There appears to be more to it though at second glance. If you check out the Windows Live Homepage you start to see the scope of where Microsoft appears to be heading with all of this: more and more web based apps and services. The safety center (give it a try) and the on-line favorites are both good ideas and I'm really interested in what the new mail app is going to look like :)

I'm not really looking for a new camera but this Sony DSC-N1 might just make me change my mind. 8.1 megapixels with a huge 3" LCD all in a camera the size of a deck of cards. Sweet! It's available for order now but I think it will be wise to wait and get some consumer reviews first :)
