A Greasemonkey Christmas is not about jamming a transmission into that old Ford Maverick. What it is about is Firefox, Greasemonkey and Gmail. First of all you have to have Firefox installed. Secondly you need to have Greasmonkey installed. And thirdly you intstall the Gmail scripts from a Greasemonkey Christmas. These scripts allow for a preview bubble when you hover over a Gmail message and also allow you to color code Gmail labels. Pretty neat stuff. One thing I did need to do was uninstall my old Gmail delete button extension and then reinstall a newer version of after I installed the Gmail scripts.
When you open windows up on your computer, the taskbar just follows along and there is no way to reorder them. This isn't a big deal to a lot of people but I like to have things just so, with my Outlook the first thing in the taskbar. Taskbar++ is a free program that allows you to slide around those tasbar tabs to any order you choose. Why this isn't included in Windows itself is beyond me?
