Well, my Michigan vacation is over and what is the first thing I write about? Google of course? In no particular order: Google Desktop has gone to Beta 4 and looks more polished with the added option to add Google Gadgets (think Yahoo widgets) to the desktop. Google Calendar is adding new features as well, including a calendar gadget for the above mentioned Google Desktop and mobile phone access to your Google Calendar as well. Google Earth has gone to a Beta 4 release also and looks cooler than ever with new and improved features. Google Browser Sync is a easy way to keep your Firefox web browser in sync over multiple computers. Great for people with more than one computer who like them both to be in sync at all times. Gmail attachment reminder is a Greasemonkey script for Firefox that tells you when you've forgotten to add an attachment to your outgoing emails. A very useful thing to have as I use some 3rd party add ins in my MS Outlook to accomplish this very thing. Picassa Web Albums is in limited release right now but I'm hoping for an initation. Sign up yourself and give it a tryout if you get invited in! Google Book Search has added the complete works of Shakespeare at one easy to navigate page. No more reasons to put off reading The Bard! Last but not least, you can map running/walking routes (and driving routes too, I guess) with Google Maps from the pages of the USATF. You are out running or walking aren't you? Give it a try (both the mapping and the running/walking)!
