I saw this new photo sharing site, Zooomr, and am giving it a tryout. It's kind of Web 2.0ish and I can't really figure out some of the features (just logging in was a pain the first couple of times) but the pictures pop up fast and look pretty good. It is in Beta, so I'll be patient :) Feel free to take a look at the few photos I've posted so far.
Update: I got my invitation to Picassa Web Albums today and have loaded the exact same photos as the ones I put into Zooomr. From my limited use of it so far, it looks extremely easy to use. Everything is integrated right into Picassa and choosing and uploading photos is a snap. Pretty neat so far.
