I came across The Amateur Gourmet blog and liked the look of his Baked French Toast, in his July 13th post. So I decided to give the recipe a try. The picture of my effort is down in the sidebar and the French Toast is all eaten up! Yummy! One thing about the recipe: If anyone can cram 12 pieces of bread into a 9" x 13" baking dish, I would like to see it. I could only get 7 pieces in the dish and so I only poured three quarter of the mixture over mine. They came out perfect :)
