BEST OF SHOW was awarded to Lori Rase Hall on August 30, 2003, from W.A.S.H. (Watercolor Artists of Sacramento Horizons) for her watercolor entry "Red Moon"
This painting was also Lori's contribution the the eMOMA fundraiser art show in June of this year and was included in the June eMOMA screensaver "ICONography: The eMOMA Thunderbird."
Judge, Boyd Gavin's comments:
"The work "Red Moon" combines beautiful design and imaginative color with an element of fantasy somewhat akin to the work of Gladys Nilsson."
This was W.A.S.H's 25th Silver Anniversary Members Show, Sacramento, California.
