"Before I went to art school I worked at a factory were we rebuilt locomotive engines. After working there for several years I was laid off. The UAW and General motors had a retraining program that I qualified for. Instead of retraining in a sensible filed like computer programming I decided that I would be an artist. I love to draw and paint and one of my teachers at school always encouraged me to use watercolors now I can't imagine not doing a painting a day.
