READY TO HANG: No extra hardware required. Completed paintings are hand-finished with either a medium or high gloss UV resistant varnish. Modern artist James Pearson projects upbeat attitudes through his joyful paintings, where he has mastered the uncluttered use of simple lines and colors. A Kentucky native, he regularly has solo gallery shows and participates in group shows throughout the South. James' work is also represented in Lyon, France. He is a full-time professional artist by trade, working primarily in acrylics; and oftentimes in watercolor and ink or with Japanese sumi brushwork. Quite often, his images are influenced by children's art and indigenous art from around the world. Western influences include Matisse, Klee, Chagall, Degas and Calder.
