The market likes open source consulting Andy has already mentioned the article on the Defence Academy and Zope/Plone. Alex pointed out to me a particularly relevant part: "The Ministry of Defence's Defence Academy made a "double win" of 30% cheaper consultancy rates for developers and quicker development by using Zope/Plone and open source email server and authentication software.
