OneNote Ink HandlingInteresting, with a mouse, OneNote handles selecting ink just like selecting text where in Journal, you have to select the lasso or circle the text while holding down right click. It's definitly more aware and intuitive when you're back using a mouse. I'm still trying to get comfortable with the multi-modal aspects of the tablet. What i like about this is that it reinforces that ink is on the same level as text. Information as information, you don't necessarily have to treat it as a graphic. However, what I don't like is that I haven't been able to get the scratch out gesture to work in OneNote. Meaning, I end up with scribbles when i mean delete. This is an example of two groups in MS not reinforcing a consistent behavior for the user. I know there were probably some designers and PMs fighting for this consistency, but they lost and so did users. 2:24:25 PM![]() |
