New year, same life, but new focus.
That's the plan.
Well I've always been focused but I'm going to refocus my focus. Are you following me?
I a bunch of things that I've been wanting to work on for well over a year. To be fair to myself I have been working on all of them just not getting anywhere. Hopefully I'll start to turn some of those corners. I don't have much to say yet about most of it but I will say that I want to get a lot of new weblog template designs up. With any luck I'll have the first of many up by this weekend. I have years worth of pictures to post (some of them actually good :O) Software to go through, an apartment to keep clean, a body to kick into shape... My dog would like me to add that he needs to go on longer walks and more frequently. I'm going to try to adjust my anger/frustration level. I don't think I can change the overall amount so I'll just change the ratios... maybe less angry and frustrated in general but livid over those things that really upset me. I'll try to keep it under my hat to some degree here because... well just because. I'll channel all of that energy into limiting the number of typos and increasing the number and relevancy of links I include in my posts. Many things about this world upset me. There, now that I've established the general rule I'll spend most of my time talking about the exceptions to that rule which should give the impression that I'm a positive person and should make for more enjoyable reading. Hopefully I'll have some announcements to come and with any luck daily posts in 2004. Also coming this year, a switch from Radio UserLand to Blosxom. I've been following the development of Blosxom actively for almost a year now (can it be that long? - Wow, time flies). It's really pretty amazing. I'm impressed. The documentation is lousy for the most part and stalled... that my opinion. Expect to see a category for Blosxom documentation here when I make the switch. Where the documentation others have written is good I'll just link to that. If I run into issues or want to talk about something in more depth... all that stuff will show up here. I'm not really going to make an attempt to reconcile that with whatever other documentation efforts are going on. It's all just too confusing at this point. I've made some suggestions so I think I've done my part but there are a lot of cooks at this point and I think Rael and some others are working on something like official documentation and I don't want to compete with that (because that will no doubt be better). When if the documentation starts to 'official-up' I'll point to it from here. Hey everybody, have a great year.
