If you're ever at the CambridgeSide Galleria in Cambridge, MA and you're looking for some place to sit and relax for a while, bypass Starbucks and head up Borders (near Best Buy) on the second floor (an elevator ride up from Starbucks in the mall).
I'm a fan of Starbucks but this particular Starbucks isn't great. It's small, always crowded, and too loud AND, there is no WiFi. The cafe at Borders is bigger, quieter and more open. There are big comfy chairs and plenty of tables usually. You can still get coffee or something similar (including pastries). Most importantly (to me), WiFi works in Borders. The same TMobile HotSpot service as Starbucks.

Jenn's iPod headphones are apparently upset about something. The other day they turned on her started shocking her brain. In fairness, they been through the wash a few times. She probably shouldn't be using them anymore and it's amazing that they work at all and that in general the quality of the audio is still fine (assuming you thought it was fine in the first place).
Anyway... it's time for new headphones. Apple recently released updated In-Ear headphones. There are also other options obviously. iPodLounge.com has a fairly detailed review of Apple's new headphones and in the process of the review they cover a couple of their other favorites. The verdict... the new headphones sound appreciably better and are more comfortable but have a tendancy to slip (something that may improve with wear). There are other good options available for the same price or more money and if quality is the most important factor to you (rather than price or weight) then you might want to opt for one of the other model/brand headphones they talk about (they include enough detail for you to find more info if you're interested.) If you're looking for good, quality headphones that are stylish and matched perfectly to the look and feel of the iPod, with good sound and, if weight and comfort are important to you, then Apple's new headphones might be a good choice.
That's the skinny. I recommend that you read the full review at iPodLounge.com

I know it's crass. These things are important to me but also I don't want to waste a lot of time on most of them.
Whether I write them down or not I carry them around in my head so why not just write them down.
Thanks for Nothing, RELIGION for thousands of years of oppression; ignorance and outright stupidity; seemingly limitless death, violence and destruction; hate and isolation. Real hope, even salvation doesn't carry so high a price.
Thanks for Nothing, Microsoft
Thanks for Nothing, Apple Computer/Steve Jobs
Thanks for Nothing, the Boston T
Thanks for Nothing, Boston's Musuem of Science
Thanks for Nothing, SUNY Buffalo/The SUNY Buffalo Classics department (by the way if anyone from SUNY Buffalo sees this please take me off of your alumni mailing list.)
Thanks for Nothing, Harvard University,
for being irresponsibly short-sighted in every way that doesn't
mean more money for your endowment or padding for your reputation.
There are more important things.
Thanks for Nothing, George W. Bush (Thanks for Nothingr father too).
For ruining America at precisely the wrong time.
Thanks for Nothing, Ronald Regan you brain dead piece of shit,
for helping to ruin my life by making me fear for my future and
the world around me when I was growing up.
Thanks for Nothing, My parent's generation for passing on your inadequacies, self-doubt,
fear... and not much else. Your children are your responsibility.
It's is your obligation to pay for their education because their future is your
debt. If you are so vain as to think that in a world of
6+ billion people
there is some need for you to procreate then you had better be prepared to
pay the price.
Thanks for Nothing, The Republican Party, for taking advantage
of the general population's stupidity to your own advantage.
Thanks for Nothing, the Democratic Party, for being too incompetent to figure out
how to help the general population in spite of our collective stupidity.
Thanks for Nothing, Arnold Schwarzenegger,
for taking out your frustrations over your pathetic movie career on
this country.
Thanks for Nothing, California (see Thanks for Nothing Arnold Schwarzenegger)
Thanks for Nothing, The people of Boston and Boston politics, for doing your best
to ruin a truly great city.

You're not as smart as you think you are.
- Me
The Museum of Science is a shit-pit and I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that Harvard is killing babies to pad its endowment.
- Me
Success in life is about managing a continuous series of small failures.
- Me
I prefer all of my human interaction in magazine form.
- Me
Hold onto your grudges.
- They are a part of who you are.
- Your life and your experiences don't make any sense without them.
- They represent real knowledge gained.
- At times they're all you have that's of any value. Don't give them away.

Listen up everybody. I've decided to start keeping score.
You may not even realize that you're playing
(I won't tell you. It's my only advantage).
[ Life vs. Me ]
Life: 32
Me: 0
More info: Life gets 1 point for every year of my life to this point.
+1 point because I'm unemployed.
+1 point because my apartment is awful.
+1 point because I have fewer than 3 friends.
[ Dan from Liverpool High School vs. Me ]
Dan: 0
Me: 1
[ Jenn's horrible friend Stacie vs. Me ]
Stacie: 0
