Cat Power is A Good Cop A one-song teaser from the new Cat Power album, You Are Free, can be had here, for a limited time.  Get it while you can, it is quite excellent.  The pre-release word on the street is that Ms. Power has hit one over the fence.  That's no surprise to me - I love every note she's committed to tape.  You Are Free will be available at your friendly local recorded-sound purveyor on Feb. 18, 2003.  The .mp3 file can also be had here, more or less permanently it seems, along with some additional information about the new album.  7:59:15 PM
