The '70s.

Hi Readers - I haven't written here much (read: at all) lately.  I'm contemplating a change to different interface for this weblog.  I'd like to incorporate photos, etc.  So, it doesn't make much sense to spend much time here.

Anyway, I was reading Pitchfork Media's list of 100 greatest albums of the 1970s.  It's a pretty good list, I think (although I strongly disagree with the rankings, I think the overall list is excellent).  I have a lot of records from the '70s, which surprised me a bit.  Here's where my collection and the Pitchfork list overlap.  This could perhaps serve as an "essential 25 albums of 1970s if you like the same sort of music as me," sort of thing.  I guess.  At any rate, making lists is fun!  The numbers correspond to the record's ranking on the Pitchfork list:

1. Low - David Bowie

2. London Calling - The Clash

3. Marquee Moon - Television

4. There's a Riot Goin' On - Sly and The Family Stone

5. Blood On the Tracks - Bob Dylan
