I was sitting in our rocking chair last night flipping channels
with my baby girl. I came across Encore which was showing Mulholland Drive. I
had seen the movie before, but before I could turn the channel it
sucked me in again.
Mulholland
Drive is an excellent movie by David Lynch. It's one of those
movies like Momento that you might not catch on to what's happening until
very late in the movie. Then, the whole reality of the movie comes
into question and leaves you with a weird, surreal feeling.
The movie centers around Naomi Watts's
character. She's a young actress trying to make a name for herself in
LA. She tries to help a lost woman with amnesia (Laura Harring).
Unfortunately, that's about all I can tell you without diving into the
plot. So, go see the movie and we'll talk about it later.
