In 2002 the Dutch army was involved in secret operations in Afghanistan. Against the will of the Dutch government they performed fighting missions in an area for which they had no clearance. The Dutch Minister of Defence was not informed of the facts.

Two possibilities here: first, the most probable one, the Minister of Defence knew and authorized the operations; second, he did not know.
If he did not know then the Dutch army mutinied and those responsible should have been tried for mutiny and treason.
If he authorized the actions, then the Minister was breaching the national law and constitution.
But don't think anyone was found guilty in this. That's how politics work in the Netherlands: lie, lie, then cheat and lie again, and spy on those who criticize you.

Expatica: "Dutch government officials tried to manipulate stories carried by the independent Dutch news agency GPD, it was reported Monday.
'Apparently there are several higher officials who have no objection to such practises,' Marcel van Lingen, director and editor-in-chief of the GPD, was reported as saying Monday in newspapers using the news service.

On Saturday the GPD news agency, which provides news to many regional and local printed press in the Netherlands, announced its computer had been hacked into for over a year by civil servants of the social affairs ministry.
The civil servants were both former GPD employees who used the username and password of a former colleague to break into the GPD computer system. This gave them access for over a year to unpublished stories, as well as to the news service's internal agenda."

When a 'leftist' group pops up on the internet here, there is a great chance it's a group controlled by the AIVD, the Dutch secret service. Some decades ago its predecessor created a Maost union and movement. The control of our society by the government is worse than that in the former GDR; it's anti-social.
In the meantime the repression in favour of big money continues on an increased scale. You see, we now have 'Christians' (including fundamentalists) and 'socialists' in our government.

Expatica: "Squatting will most likely soon be a thing of the past. A private member's bill from the Christian democrat CDA can count on majority support in Parliament, the Telegraaf writes. Liberal VVD and Freedom party PVV have long supported making squatting a crime."
At this moment real estate agents and building companies are involved in the largest scams ever. Nothing is done to curb their illegal activities.

Expatica: "The Postbank is not violating any laws or regulations by systematically lowering the interest rate on various savings accounts while the market interest rate has risen."

GLBT: "The fast-fading reputation of the Netherlands as a bastion of tolerance and open-mindedness took another heavy blow this week when a leading member of the Christen Unie (Christian Union) party, which is the third group in the Dutch ruling coalition, demanded that practising homosexuals should be expelled from administrative positions in the party and should not be proposed for government functions."
Yvette Lont is a former prostitute and drug addict. I wonder why these people with that frame of mind continue thinking that the Dutch population must tolerate them. Doesn't she realize that she shouldn't do to others what she doesn't want others to do to her.
