A picture named Iran.jpg (Click the image on the left for whole cartoon.)
Yesterday (see previous post) I mentioned that my blog got 3 hits from the US administration and military. This should be seen in the light of this new development:

NewsFromUnderground: "The U.S. military is looking for a contractor to patrol cyberspace, watching for warning signs of forthcoming terrorist attacks or other hostile activity on the Web. In a solicitation posted on the Web last week, the U.S. Army's Fifth Signal Command said it was looking for a contractor to provide 'Internet awareness services' to support 'force protection' - the term of art for the security of U.S. military installations and personnel. 'The purpose of the services will be to identify and assess stated and implied threat, antipathy, unrest and other contextual data relating to selected Internet domains,' says the solicitation. The solicitation says the successful contractor will 'analyze various Web pages, chat rooms, blogs and other Internet domains to aggregate and assess data of interest."
Now you know they have already started and that this makes it highly probably that a military action against Iran is being planned. If in the months before or after the US presidential elections blogs and internet sites are suddenly not accessible, you will know that they are being silenced and that a military action is in progress.

It is time for Congress to reconsider restrictions placed on their internet use. Congress should join us where we the people are talking, sharing and networking - online. Especially at a time when the distance between the people and politicians is widening; worse even, at a time when politics seems to be the realm of the criminal.

National Impeachment Network: "There is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes. The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account."
Army Major General Antonio Taguba, ABC News, June 19th.

CSpan: "Vincent Bugliosi argues that President Bush and his administration are responsible for murdering thousands of U.S. soldiers and over 100,000 Iraqi civilians in Iraq. Mr. Bugliosi says that by taking the country to war under knowingly false pretenses, President Bush has committed the most serious crime in U.S. history."

AfterDowningStreet: "In a recent immigration court case involving Turkish Islamic Leader, Fetullah Gulen, US prosecutors exposed an illegal, covert, CIA operation involving the intentional Islamization of Central Asia. This operation has been ongoing since the fall of the Soviet Union in an ongoing Cold War to control the vast energy resources of the region - Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan - estimated to be worth $3 trillion.
After 911, the US Government engaged in mock investigations and shut down many small Islamic charities and organizations, giving the appearance of action in the so-called 'War on Terror'. Why did they harbor, support and resource Fethullah Gulen's $25 billion madrassa-and-mosque-establishment efforts throughout the Central Asian region and the Balkans?"
We already know that the US supported and armed the Taliban against the Russians. So the US is still engaged in a massive campaign of agitprop, disinformation and covert warfare, with the sole purpose of damaging the enemies (Russia and China and whichever country that opposes the US) and gaining control of as much territory as possible, and doing that by pacting with the devil, the groups they decry as being evil. It's the cynicism of a fascist state.

A war criminal like Bush is perfectly capable of bombing Iran. To get a semblance of credibility the US might let Israel attack the Iranian nuclear installations, then when Iran like any other state would do, retaliates, the US would join in and destroy the Iranian rocket bases. If done right before or after the US election, Obama would be put before a fait accompli, and he'd have no other option than to see the operation or possibly another war through. It is a possible scenario.

PressTV: "The US has allowed Israeli jets to use US airbases in Iraq and fly over Iraqi airspace for a likely attack against Iran, Iraqi media say."

There may be Democrats who would go along with this scenario, thus shaking any blame from themselves; but that would only show how corrupt the whole American system is. The only thing to do for people with some integrity, morality and sense of justice left, is to impeach Bush now, to prevent him from hijacking Congress and the military again.
If Obama does not want to be burdened by another war he should urge his party to impeach Bush. If the Democrats do not want to lose this election they should impeach Bush before it's too late. The American military and Congress should give their complete support to the impeachment process if they want to be spared another debacle, this time in Iran. The American people should demand the immediate impeachment of George W. Bush to prevent America from going bankrupt.

NFU: "A spokesperson for a National Impeachment Network (NIN) lobbying delegation, which has been meeting with Congress members in Washington DC this week, said 'There is clear evidence that the mood of Congress has shifted. Impeachment hearings could start this month. It appears that hearings will likely focus on impeachable offenses not requiring testimony and lengthy investigations because evidence is on the public record - the administration's refusal to honor subpoenas, the nearly 800 signing statements used to alter the intent of legislation passed by Congress, and the deliberate misinformation given to Congress to get approval for going to war. We are very optimistic that Cheney and Bush are finally going to be held to account and investigated."

TimesOnline: "President George W Bush has told the Israeli government that he may be prepared to approve a future military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities if negotiations with Tehran break down, according to a senior Pentagon official.
Despite the opposition of his own generals and widespread scepticism that America is ready to risk the military, political and economic consequences of an airborne strike on Iran, the president has given an 'amber light' to an Israeli plan to attack Iran's main nuclear sites with long-range bombing sorties, the official told The Sunday Times."

I think the impeachment of Bush and Cheney is America's last chance.
