A picture named bush_bozo.jpg WashingtonPost: "The Bush administration issued a pair of secret memos to the CIA in 2003 and 2004 that explicitly endorsed the agency's use of interrogation techniques such as waterboarding against al-Qaeda suspects - documents prompted by worries among intelligence officials about a possible backlash if details of the program became public.
The classified memos, which have not been previously disclosed, were requested by then-CIA Director George J. Tenet more than a year after the start of the secret interrogations, according to four administration and intelligence officials familiar with the documents. Although Justice Department lawyers, beginning in 2002, had signed off on the agency's interrogation methods, senior CIA officials were troubled that White House policymakers had never endorsed the program in writing."

Reuters: "Billionaire investor George Soros predicted on Sunday that the financial crisis would mean the end of a U.S.-led market system that has dominated the global economy with debt and deregulation since the 1980s.
'Globalization, America as the center of the globalized financial markets, was sucking up the savings of the world,' Soros said in a CNN interview.
'This is now over. The game is out. It does mean a very serious adjustment for America,' added Soros, a staunch backer of the Democratic Party.

Jeffrey Sachs, special adviser to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and director of the Earth Institute at New York's Columbia University, appeared to agree with Soros.
'The age of Reaganism is over,' Sachs said in a separate CNN interview. 'The no-regulation, low-taxes (philosophy) has broken the back of our economy. We now have to get serious about reconstructing normal government that pays its way and a normal financial sector that's properly regulated."

OpEdNews: "Freeze the assets of all the CEOs of the banking institutes and trustees, as well as family members who have received gifts from them during their years or employment at the banks. Seize their assets. They are stolen assets. Arrest the CEOs, top executives, Board of Directors, and Trustees, and auction off their assets. Those assets will certainly help feed the $700 million dollar kitty. For the $700 dollar bailout on Wall Street, falling largely upon the figuratively and literally raped and plundered taxpayer they ought to be arrested, and brought to trial. If they are found guilty, send them to jail. A citizen's arrest is not out of the question.

Arrest the Commander in Chief and his Executive Committee, Alan Greenspan, and power brokers recommending deregulating practices as enemies of the country, systematically undermining the constitution, deleting our freedom until the day comes when criticizing our government will cost us our jobs and livelihoods, assuming we have not already lost them in this recent financial debacle.

The enemy is the politician, the public servant elected to protect us who scoffs at the Constitution, spitting upon the spirit and mindful sense it placed upon support and restrictions on government powers to 'act against individuals'.
Treason is defined as betraying one's country. Bush's 8 years of hyperreal leadership and Constitutional detonations push the limits."

However, the engineers of the debacle are still working on maintaining their power by trying to disenfranchise millions of voters. They have done it before.
Guardian: "The situation in Nevada is ripe for what has become a primary Republican strategy in the election. Millions of new voters have registered this year, many of them from traditionally disenfranchised groups: the poor, the young, and people of color. A majority of these new voters are clearly fall into the Obama camp, so the GOP has mounted a campaign to root out what it claims is widespread voter fraud.
They claim that people are registering to vote multiple times, or under false names, or in the wrong jurisdictions, or are not entitled to vote (for example, because they are have no home address or are undocumented immigrants or convicted felons)."

GregPalast: "However, the Republican cry of 'Vote Fraud!' has become the cover for purges and challenges to legal voters by the millions. I even tracked down and filmed some of these so-called fraudulent voters handed me from a GOP list. Every one was a legal voter."

If you are still able to squeeze a laugh out of this situation, here goes:
TheSpoof: "Americans and world citizens have lost so much money in the Bush depression, that a unanimous vote of sensible people has mandated that Bush be locked in the White House basement and not allowed to cause any more damage to civilization.
Fortunately the Bush administration had built an underground fortress of solitude for VP Dick Cheney to keep US hunters safe.
A bipartisan posse of rounded W up, hog tied him and threw him into the subterranean cell till Obama's inauguration day.
Acting President, House Speaker Pelosi, found herself in office since Cheney had already moved to an off shore tax exempt hunting reserve."
