ABC: "The United States Government must release documents within 30 days relating to the treatment of prisoners held at American overseas detention centres, including Guantanamo Bay and Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison, a US federal judge ordered.
More than 17,000 pages of documents have been requested by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other groups, which argued that the Government must release the records under the Freedom of Information Act."
