Independent: "Tony Blair is facing a political backlash over his decision to order a new generation of nuclear weapons to replace the ageing Trident fleet at a cost of billions of pounds."
RNW: "While the Dutch government remains committed to a broad package of extensive spending cuts, Defence Minister Henk Kamp wants the country to beef up its military capability by buying Tomahawk cruise missiles."
Xinhua: "Dutch Defense Minister Henk Kamp is pressing on with plans to buy American Tomahawk cruise missiles for the navy despite risks of clash with parliament."
