EUObserver: "Staff at the UN's Hague tribunal are dismayed by the surprise announcement made on Monday by UN chief prosecutor Carla del Ponte that Croatia is 'fully cooperating' with the tribunal - paving the way for Zagreb's entry talks with the EU.
However, on Friday (30 September), following meetings with the country's president Stjepan Mesic and Mr Sanader, she had offered a much bleaker assessment of Zagreb's co-operation in handing over the war crimes suspect."
Obviously, Ms del Ponte is biased in favour of Croatia and against Serbia. So when Croatia enters the EU, we'll have a country in Europe with lots of war criminals on the loose.
AlertNet: "More than 19,000 Bosnian Serbs participated in the massacre at Srebrenica, Europe's worst atrocity since World War Two, a Bosnian government panel said on Tuesday."
That is rather strange. 19,000 Serbs were involved in killing how many inhabitants of Srebrenica? A few thousand? Of which only a few hundred are proven as yet.
It seems to me a very dirty political game is being played here.
