Now that we have all reached a higher level of consciousness with transcendental meditation, you can now enhance your academic, interpersonal, and physical learning with Brain Gym or 'educational kinesiology'.
Knowledge and intelligence is not something you have or acquire by study and concentration, no, the study and application of posture and movement are enough. Well, not really, only licensed Brain Gym Instructors/Consultants can offer correct modeling of the movements as well as knowledge of how to combine and sequence these movements for optimal effectiveness.
And as if that is not enough, you can accelerate your brain with iMusic.
Guardian: "Brain Gym is an incredibly popular technique, in at least hundreds of British state schools, promoted all over government websites, and with a scientific explanatory framework that is barkingly out to lunch.
They teach a funny way of wiggling your ears with your fingers that 'stimulates the reticular formation of the brain to tune out distracting, irrelevant sounds and tune into language'."
At best it is old wine in new bottles, at worst it is an expensive scam.
My advice is free: physical exercise is good for the blood circulation, music is a balm for the ear (or rather brain) and study and knowledge require some effort and concentration. First step on the road to better knowledge and understanding: forget about those costly placebos, and instead buy yourself a ukulele or something, or go for a walk, spring is in the air, the lark is on the wing, the snail is on the thorn...

NPR: "For many months, Los Angeles city officials have complained that regional hospitals are dropping off their indigent patients in the city's tough Skid Row area. On Wednesday, officials at a homeless shelter released a videotape that allegedly catches one hospital in the act. The incident has become part of an ongoing investigation that could result in criminal or civil penalties."
