Bloggerheads: "On 4 November the website domain blairfoundation.org.uk was registered - by one Martha Greene. It is the clearest sign yet that the Prime Minister plans to set up a body similar to that established by the former US President Bill Clinton.
Here's what the papers missed, folks; Martha Greene registered tonyblairfoundation.co.uk and tonyblairfoundation.org a month earlier... on 30 September 2006
It wasn't until 4 November that she registered blairfoundation.org.uk then - a few days later - theblairfoundation.org and theblairfoundation.com (for some reason, the 'Tony' was dropped... I'm guessing for statesman-like branding purposes)."
Tony is probably thinking 'I made my hands real dirty in the kitchen of bloody politics, and I want my reward'.
TimesOnline: "Tony Blair has begun setting up a charitable foundation that he hopes will set him off on the US lecture circuit when he quits this year and help him secure a lasting legacy.
Following Bill Clinton and Margaret Thatcher, the prime minister's friends have quietly been putting plans in place for the organisation, which will promote Blairism."
Blairism? They mean a course called 'lie, lie and lie'? Or lecture about how to torture and get away with it? Or how to spin-doctor your administration?
More.
