Via the latest Feedback at New Scientist comes this marvellous example of Clueless Technolatin from Matsushita, in its "Annual Management Policy":
1. Purpose of "Value Creation 21" plan
To make the transition from a mass-production-oriented
operation, Matsushita will establish a business model to
become a "super manufacturing company." This will enable a
value-chained business model with higher profit from synergy
effects of components and devices, finished products and
services & solutions.
