Cyber Discussion in Open Source Marketing by Scott Allen There is an online presentation and discussion on "The Role of Product Marketing in an Open Source World" on Tuesday (28 Jan.) that I thought you might be interested in. The presenter is Scott Allen and I assure you his ideas on open source are rather intriguing. Not to forget his future plans: he is about to launch the Open Source Enterprise Project. Anyhow, it's interesting to see a presentation taking place in cyberspace and I mostly agree with the sentiments of Scott's OS Enterprise Project so I'll also be there. BTW, the presentation will last 90 min and is given in conjuction with the Software and Product Marketing eGroup, which Scott has co-founded, an all-volunteer job board and support group for out-of-work software product marketing, product management, and business development professionals. Hope to see you too there:-) 6:39:21 PMSay it loud [] |

Joke to Cheer U Up Daniel Holdsworth strikes again with another of his jokes: Three men, one American, one Japanese and an Irishman were sitting naked in a sauna. Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The American pressed his forearm and the beep stopped. The others looked at him questioningly."That was my pager, "he said, "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm." A few minutes later a phone rang. The Japanese fellow lifted his palm to his ear. When he finished he explained, "That was my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand." The Irishman felt decidedly low tech, but not to be outdone he decided he had to do something just as impressive. He stepped out of the sauna and went to the toilet. He returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from his behind. The others raised their eyebrows and stared at him. The Irishman finally said ."Well, will you look at that, I'm getting a fax". 6:33:16 PMSay it loud [] |
