Few cannot help but be very concerned about the United States invasion of Iraq and the overthrow of the ruling regime in Iraq.  The long term effects of this decision by
U.S. leaders, backed by over 70% of U.S. citizens, is something I think about every day. 

Our security is our #1 concern.  The 9/11 terrorist attack changed our perspectives and actions in international relations.  Our leaders never mentioned invading Afghanstan, Iraq or Syria before 9/11 - now the situation is different.  If Iraqis develop and maintain a free secular democratic society, they have Osama Bin Lauden to thank, not U.S. democrats or republicans.
