One highlight in our February garden is the purple-violet blossoms of Tuscan rosemary in the borders.   The plant ranges from 3 to 4 feet in height, needs little attention, and thrives in our warm climate.  Cuttings can be taken in the autumn months and a high percentage will root.

"The year is but a succession of days, and I see that I could assign some office to each day which, summed up, would be the history of the year.  Everything is done in season, and there is no time to spare."
-  Henry David Thoreau, Journal, August 24, 1852
