The design will be done in close collaboration with the clinical trial teams and may use a candidate gene or a whole genome scan approach. Conduct association studies to investigate the correlation between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and clinical parameters. Statistical tools used may include multivariate analysis, survival analysis, ANOVA, ANCOVA, Linkage Disequilibrium, Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium and haplotype analysis. The goal is to find genetic factors associated with drug response. The analysis will be conducted in close collaboration with the clinical trial statisticians.
