We've got a daughter and son-in-law and two wonderful grandchildren who live just outside of Milwaukee,so I figured I'd post this. No other reason.

A Store Taps Old Milwaukee Nostalgia. The neon sign is still on at Goldmann's, a 107-year-old Milwaukee institution and one of the few remaining independent department stores in the nation. [New York Times: Business]

I can relate. I'm not doing quite such a set up and still am not totally happy, pleased, or elated with my Palm i705 and it's connectivity.

Hey Dave, we're doing our part here in Denver.

It's hard to find much news on Christmas Day. Even so, Weblogs.Com is at its lowest level in a long time. There are only 301 weblogs in the update list. Is that news? Well, it's kind of lack-of-news news, but I guess that's news. [Scripting News]

The phone rang at 2:22am, (thank god for digital clocks), for the lady of the house. She's a nurse and seems babies don't have any sense of time. The hospital Labor and Delivery area needed some assistance so off she went. Fortunately we're only about 10 minutes from the hospital. A nice 5 hours @ double time.
