I advise everyone to be careful and thoughtful before installing the 2003-07-14 Security Update. If you notice the VersionTracker Feedback, you'll see several account of passwords simply not working, systems freezing on blue screens during start-up, etc. There are some, but very few success stories. This update "addresses a potential vulnerability when a password is required upon waking from the Screen Effects feature, which could allow an unauthorized user access to the desktop of the logged in user." So, I suggest not installing it, unless you're really paranoid.
