Ok so how long before this takes off, pardon the pun. There are lots of other applications for this in the travel industry. I see many business travelers on a daily basis, 200+, and most all of them have cell phones and PDA 's and pagers. Yes pagers. Some go as far as having their laptop and a GPS unit to give them directions.

Yes it's Monday and actually my Thursday with days off during the week of Wednesday and Thursday. A uneventful weekend with a cold snap on Saturday. Today it will be back in the 80's. At least we don't have to worry about Isabell.
What good is a company to have technology if they don't use it? We at Alamo/Nationalhave an intranet and amazingly use Outlook 98. Ok so the company is't on the bleeding edge, and they are making use of technology. It's taken now three weeks of face to face and repeated e-mails to managers and I'm still not on the company distribution list. Another agravation is that even though folks have e-mail they don't respond. Maybe I need to write better or more with a sense of urgency. The other thing is that I've a co-worker who needs training bad. Call me old fashioned but when I'm the last on at the office at night I make sure that the person coming in on the next morning has all the information they need to start the day and then can handle any last minute details. Our co-worker in question is a youngster, this being probably her second job out of highschool, doesn't understand doing business. She's going to need additional training.
