Thank goodness for backups, auto, intentional or otherwise. I reinstalled the Palm software and as if by magic, I have all my information back and much more. I had installed the Entourage Conduit and, the Sync process took my complete address book and added it into the Palm. Now to spend some time sorting this all out again.

This is and will be interesting.

One of the woefully underreported benefits to the FCC's decision to force the cellphone companies to let customers take their number with them when the switch carriers is that phone number portability doesn't just apply to cellphones, beginning November 24th you'll also be able to switch a number from a landline to a cellphone, and vice versa.
